It's been two days..

and a complete turnaround in my writing energy. I had been hitting brick walls, and just been unwilling to write. It was becoming an unpleasant thing. My deadline hung over me, alternately appearing as a black cloud and as the sword of Damocles (cue the music, Doc!) Slogging through this book was horrible.

Yesterday Rose and I attacked the living room. Cleaned, rearranged furniture, Made Rose a space for her work so we can all co-exist. [livejournal.com profile] sinboy came over later and cleaned our kitchen. I took shitloads of garbage and recycling downstairs... we filled the containers ourselves! Place looks great. And I went to bed exhausted after starting yet another doomed game of Nethack.

This morning I get up and check news and mail. With much trepidation, I begin writing. That's when the dam bursts. The words come out in great blocks, faster than I can type them. Inspiration hits me over and over, and worlds that were only going to get a single paragraph get five.

I should have taken a break an hour ago, but I've been afraid to stop. Hunger, however, is beginning to interfere with higher brain functions.

This is writing!!</

Woo hoo! Now, stop posting to LJ and get back to the book...the Muses are fickle, and you ride the wave when it comes by.

After inhaling a peanut butter sandwich, I got another four-five hours in, at which point i had to stop because of hand cramps and the delayed twitches from my meds were sarting to hurt my neck. (If I stay active while on Trileptal, the muscle jerks and movements seem to pile up until I'm at rest.) My head was jerking back and forth like a Linda Blair wanna-be.
