Kirsten is still talking about DSL, but I'm worried about the cost. Ten years of being poor has given me a knee jerk reaction to the words "it's only a few hundred dollars."

I do, in fact, understand - and the initial outlay for the modem & installation & everything gives me pause, as well. But once we get past that hurdle, the monthly cost isn't going to be all that much more than when you and I were paying for separate accounts at Hooked, and we're far better off financially than we were then.

I just found out that my best friend from childhood is getting married. Weird feeling when you realize that Bill was always the leader, and I've been married a decade already! I've been invited to the bachelor party, which will be amusing given that I don't drink, and am not overly interested in strippers these days. Oh well.
