Damn, that liitle toad can move!

Watching Star Wars: Attack of the Clones for the first time, and we've finally reached the Yoda/Dooku fight.

Yoda kicks serious bootie.

Of course, I laughed my ass off at Dooku's light sail ship.. the best a light sail is going to do is about .001g acceleration.

Since when does physics matter in Star Wars?

Should I have heard something from Baycon about having a badge by now?

Just curious...

We were watching that here, too, and as it wasn't the first time for either of us, we were MST3K-ing it up the wazoo. It was quite a lot of fun.

The lovely and uber-geeky [livejournal.com profile] laurellady pointed out the light sail problem, to which I responded, in my best Yoda voice, "Late for the Clone Wars he will be!"

Well, I thought it was pretty funny. (And I've always figured it was a bullshitium hydride hyperlight metasail, or something.)

Maybe Dooku's flying a hybrid. :-)

Not...

... when you switch on the Bergenholm, though.

Yoda kicks serious bootie.

I'm reminded of a comment I heard when Episode II: Send in the Clones was first released:

"Who would have thought that, in a movie featuring Samuel L. Jackson and a Muppet, the Muppet would be the one that kicks ass?"

Depends. Laser boosted lightsails can do better as I recall.
