You've got it all wrong, they're doing this in the name of Freedom and Liberty.
After all, to keep Freedom you have to cut freedoms, and to maintain Liberty, you have to remove liberty. Simple as that.
Now if they could only prove that black is white and get run down at the next zebra crossing, we would all be much better off.
