We Told You So.

White House says Iraq weapons search is over

The search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq has quietly concluded without any evidence of the banned weapons that President Bush cited as justification for going to war, the White House said Wednesday

The Iraq Survey Group, made up of some 1,200 military and intelligence specialists and support staff, spent nearly two years searching military installations, factories and laboratories whose equipment and products might be converted quickly to making weapons.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan said there no longer is an active search for weapons. "There may be a couple, a few people, that are focused on that" but that it has largely concluded, he said.

Current number of American war dead: 1,357

And if they hadn't invaded and searched, and a major american city, lets say ... Los Angeles (home of hollywood, and the Film Actors Guild :-P) sufferd a bio-warfare attack that could be traced back to Iraq, people wold be baying for his blood even worse.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Under thast logic we should immediately nuke the entire planet! After all, Lichtenstein might have a supply of smallpox and the will to use it! And what about Upper Volta? Can you prove they don't have a secret nuclear weapons program, and the means to deliver it onto our poor, helpless heads?

For that matter, Every single person in San Jose could potentially murder me! I demand that everyone be arrested at once!

They fucking lied. It wasn't "we think there's a threat", it was "we know they have them." My fellow soldiers are getting killed for a lie.
