A brief announcement.
In one of my favorite movies, Real Genius, there is a short scene that applies today. During a montage of shots showing the two main characters hard at work studying, there is scene in a library. Several students are deep into their work, when one stands up and begins screaming. Wordlessly, just venting his stress. He flees the room still screaming, a broken husk of a man.
With that scene in mind, I present my update on Cost Plus at Christmas time, seasonal employees, our beloved customers, and the Forty Niners:
AAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! BLEEEEEEAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!! AARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

The job was to stand there, look good, and if someone decided to expose themselves, laugh and point.
I had to fill in for someone who quit on the spot because "it was too difficult." After an hour, I understood.
They play Muzak to get the employees to work. It's the only way to block out the noise . . . the Noise . . . the Horrible NOISE!
Ahem. I feel much better now.
