o name: Michael
o age: 36
o where on earth do you live: Eugene, OR
o reason behind your LJ username: biomechanic was already taken. it is a reference to my interest in genetic engineering and transhumanism in general. It's also a song on Front Line Assembly's Tactical Neural Implant.
o five things you want to do/accomplish before you die: be published, be a parent, dive off of the Great Barrier reef, travel to Europe, tour the Mayan ruins in the Yucatan
o what makes you happy: being home with [livejournal.com profile] sbloss
o what have you been listening to lately: Lush, Undertow
o do you enjoy reading my LJ: For the most part.
o if so, why: interesting opinions, the occassional gaming idea.
o interesting fact about you: in '72 I was the first legally recognized gifted/dyslexic child in PA, and am on the lawbooks as a John Doe in the case filed by my parents against the school district.
o are you in love at the moment: very much so
o favorite destination: home to the wife at the end of the day.
o favorite quote: I am innocent of all but malice. Fiona, Zelazny's Chronicals of Amber
o will you post this in your LJ: it's a mighty big IF

RECOMMEND
o a movie (that amazes you - a beautiful movie): Princess Mononoke
o a book (that inspires you, and one you couldn't put down): The Colors of Chaos/The White Order dualogy by L.E. Modesitt. Actually one book, ,but split into two parts by the publisher because of length.
o a musical artist, song, or album: Course of Empire. A thinking person's hard rock, I'll stop now before I gush.
o your favorite LJ user (not on my list already): [livejournal.com profile] m15m, if you haven't read Cleonlinda's Movies in 15 Minutes, you owe it to yourself to do so. The Van Helsing review is my personal favorite.
