A fistful of dollars...
When I got home for Kiri's birthday lunch, there was a message from my boss at Cost Plus.. "Doug, it's Shin. I know you're scheduled for closing at 5:30, but if you'd like to pick up some hours, give me a call, or just come in.."
That sounded ominous.. so I call in. My partner Jason answers the phone:
J: "Cost Plus Almaden, Jason speaking."
D: "Hey Jason, it's me Doug.."
J: "Hey, you coming in?"
They so needed me. :)
So I pick up an extra 2 hours, more or less. Every little bit helps! But man, am I tired!
