Speak no truth...

Disney is blocking the release of Michael Moore's new film Fahrenheit 911. The film delves into the Bush family connections to the bin-Laden family, among other things.

Yup. Has nothing to do with the subject matter. And Miramax does nothing but family films. Right. And I'm Mel Gibson's stunt double.

Miramax: Distributing Quentin Tarantino films since 1994.

Because we all know QT is very family friendly.

Are the connections between the Bushes and the Saudis really that unknown in the US? It made the news here a couple of years ago. CBC has done a couple of documentaries exploring the issue.

Not carried on any CanWest stations, or any media outlet owned by the Aspers, of course.

Of course, ScrappleFace (http://www.scrappleface.com) has unearthed a new facet of this story:

What did Moore know and when did he know it?

Moore admitted on CNN that he knew that Disney wouldn't distribute the movie a year ago.
It appears that his recent anger is probably part of well planned publicity move.

He won't have any problem finding a distributor, but this way he gets to generate free publicity.
