That little dot is everything we are. Sumerians to Shakespeare to The Scorpions. Dinosaurs to Deadheads. The sum total of our existence seen as a morning star.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed here at the moment.

That reminds me of something I like to do to people:

We go outside on a clear, starry night. I say, "Look at the thousands of visible points of light, and remember that there are quadrillions you can't see.

"Now we know that it's quite possible that each point of light has given birth to civilizations that, at the very least, are on a par with ours.

"Now, scream at the top of your lungs at the universe: "I AM SIGNIFICANT!""

Most can't do it.
