Yeah, there's a fix for that.
Go to your modify users page, add "ljmaps" to your interests. Save that. Now go out to your map, and place yourself by ZIP code. Solved the problem. After that, remove "ljmaps" from your interest list.

Go to your modify users page, add "ljmaps" to your interests. Save that. Now go out to your map, and place yourself by ZIP code. Solved the problem. After that, remove "ljmaps" from your interest list.
