Thanks to mdlbear and the other alpha geeks who descended on our broken box like starving lions on an injured gazelle at Starport.

It was the power supply, and we now have a new one, courtesy of Starport's seemingly inexhaustible supply of computer parts. The new one is a bit loud. Which means that I need to crank WinAmp.
