It's a real pity that Axl was such a prima dona asswipe, because Guns'n'Roses was one kick-ass band.

Now, I don't want to go off on a rant here, but you understate both cases. I think they could have become the greatest rock and roll band in the world. And you must know the story of Axl refusing to take GNR onstage to give the audience _something_ after James Hetfield stepped into a firepot on stage.
