Inflation is one thing..

Planning for the Great Trek Two, I check Greyhound fares. The trip I took last year for $90-ish round trip is now $216. Say what?

It will be cheaper to fly. By roughly sixty bucks.

So, do I want to spent 18 hours on a Greyhound Bus, or 90 minutes on a plane and save the money? Decisions, decisions...

I'd go for the plane option, unless you're really strapped and/or need to carry large amounts of stuff; it's quicker and probably more scenic.

Check Amtrak while you are at it.

If this is the trrip to Orycon, note that the train station and the Greyhound depot are all of a block apart. And I think Trailways still has service to the same spot, though I can't guarantee it.

If this is a trip elsewhere, nevermind.
