That gun sounds so rude when firing. First comes a long ripping sound as the rounds go off. Then comes a long brapping sound as the rounds go supersonic. Awesome.
The teeth on the aircraft identify it as belonging to the 23rd Fighter Group, the "Flying Tigers." They trace their lineage back to the American Volunteer Group of World War II Flying Tiger fame. I was assigned to the unit as historian from 1986-1988.
