It finally happened.

I had a day that defined the perimeter of my route.

301 miles! (my number is a little over the map's due to on-site maneuvering and the like.)

While pilling up the miles today..

I found myself on the Antioch Bridge, a soaring span across the confluence of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers. Since both rivers handle ocean-going ships the bridge needs to be tall. This makes it one of the last places I want to be during a big earthquake, but you get some great views from the roadway.



Not bad for a crappy cell phone pic taking without aiming.
