Heavy Metal Sunday gets epic.

Nobody has ever accused metal bands of writing short songs. Many of the great bands, coming out of the electric blues tradition, tend to write songs that last for several minutes. But nobody is better at this than the Lords of NWOBHM, Iron Maiden. No, we're not doing Paschendale (8:28) or the Rime of the Ancient Mariner (13:35). Instead, we're going for the original Maiden epic. From their self-titled debut album, Phantom of the Opera live in 2005.
