Heavy Metal Sunday shouts "Éirinn go Brách!"

I was going to explore the roots of Heavy metal this week, but then remembered that St. Patrick's Day falls on Tuesday. So we'll put that off to next Sunday. This week, we'll celebrate the Emerald Isle and green beer with a track from Waylander, an Irish band influential in the realms of Celtic folk metal. Formed in 1993, the band blends historical Irish folk with 1990s heavy metal. Waylander is noted for incorporating traditional Irish instruments like the tin flute and bodhrán into their performances.

Buzzzzz....

Made it down to our favorite hair place this morning. Got my hair severely buzzed. I like it this short, and it is much easier to care for. After buzzing my head, my stylist suggested a shampoo. since I know this is part of the service, I agreed. Friends, not only is my head cleaner than I think it ever has been before, I got a full scalp massage in the bargain. Well worth the $13+hefty tip I paid. kshandra got her hair trimmed and straightened at the same time.
