Heavy Metal Sunday can credit this find to Dungeons and Dragons

A little background here. I'm working on making the deities listed in the new version of D&D into a real pantheon; mapping out their relation to each other, establishing hierarchies, expanding on their rather brief listings. The kind of obsessive world-building I'm known for. Anyway, I was looking into the cult of Dionysus to add a mystery cult to the worship of Pelor and Melora. But I kept finding links to a band named Dionysus. Intrigued, I looked them up, and found a video (or seven) on YouTube. OK, I'm impressed.

Dionysus is a Swedish/German Power metal band that has released three albums. Frustratingly, I can't find any information about current activity; they lost their drummer and keyboardist in 2007, seem to have replaced them, but that's it. Considering how good they are, I hope the haven't stagnated and broken up. But anyway, grab a glass of wine and enjoy Time Will Tell.

A new look for This Old Journal.

Changed my journal theme. Take a look and tell me what you think. Also, between loads of laundry, I burned [livejournal.com profile] redc1c4's birthday gift to me, the Grateful Dead's So Many Roads (1965 - 1995). Amazing stuff, thanks Red.

Back to laundry in a minute, then I need to help Kiri inventory the mountain of Burning Man gear in the second bedroom.
