Heavy Metal Sunday is happy to spread the word

About good new bands. I actually heard about Black Tide from the shipping/receiving guy at one of my regular vendors at work. He's turned me onto a couple of new bands (which will be featured in HMS in the coming weeks) but for today, I thought we'd start with Black Tide. Picked up their debut album Light From Above and really enjoyed it.

Now the part that is going to make you all feel old. Lead singer/guitarist Gabriel Garcia is 15 years old.

Yeah.

The album is very good, and has a kickass cover of Metallica's Hit the Lights, but today we present Black Tide performing Shockwave on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Fifteen freaking years old.
