So no snappy patter today, and you can bet this song is playing with volume way down. Oy.

But what we have for you this Mother's Day morning is Savatage, a prog metal band out of Florida. Y'all probably know them better for their annual side project, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Today's selection is Hall of the Mountain King, not to be confused with In the Hall of the Mountain King composed by Edvard Grieg. Which is a shame, because "Edvard Grieg" would be a great name for a metal artist.
