So...

Who on my flist is going to be at Baycon this weekend?

My usual disclaimer. My illness and years of mis-prescribed anti-convulsants have ruined my memory. I may not remember you on first sight, especially if your someone I only see infrequently. I am terrible at names. I will sometimes disconnect who you are really from who you are on LJ. Please be patient, it's frustrating for me too.

That being said, anybody up for a one-shot GURPS or Champions game at the con?

Well, shit.

I didn't get the PCO job.

What the hell do I have to do? I made the first interview, and the second was mainly about my availability, which is pretty much unlimited.

*sigh*

I need to figure out how to get back into school and get a degree in something.

But tonight, I drink beer. Because while it isn't a solution, getting toasted will stop me from throwing shit through the windows.

French fries protester regrets war jibe

It was a culinary rebuke that echoed around the world, heightening the sense of tension between Washington and Paris in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. But now the US politician who led the campaign to change the name of french fries to "freedom fries" has turned against the war.

Walter Jones, the Republican congressman for North Carolina who was also the brains behind french toast becoming freedom toast in Capitol Hill restaurants, told a local newspaper the US went to war "with no justification".

Nice to see more scales fall from eyes.
