OK, this time I'm going for it.

The application is printed out.

I have the money to apply for a passport.

I'm in the best health I've been in since I got sick.

I'm applying for Survivor 9.

So, I need to have a video ready by January 27. Three minutes maximum. [livejournal.com profile] dafydd, would you be willing be to help with filming and editing this? I'm also looking for ideas on what I should do that will both catch the attention of the producers and be a good way to introduce me and my reasons for wanting to go on Survivor (like a million bucks and wanting to push myself to my limits again.)

The video should reflect who I am, so I'm looking to do something a little sarcastic. a little funny, and a lot weird. Any locals want to be in the production?

Also, I need three words to describe myself. Sarcastic is already taken. Suggestions?

Wish me luck!

Out of the Wall Locker

2 Generals, one Admiral, come out as gay

All fucking right! So much for the "Fags can't make it in the military" argument!.

NOT FADE AWAY!!!

Listening to the Dead Zone, and it is one of the best mod-80s shows I've ever shows.. The second set alone has Man Smart/Woman Smarter, Uncle John's Band, Terrapin Station, The Wheel, and now a blistering Throwing Stones-Not Fade Away combo that almost has me up and dancing in the apartment. I am doing the chair dance.

Hearing shows like this really make miss them, especially Jerry and Brent.

Love is real, and NOT FADE AWAY!

A couple of notes.

I am doing much better, thanks for the wishes of good health. The cough is holding on, but that is normal for someone of my medical background.

Somehow, I have developed a spasming back. Probably work-related. Must remember to stretch more during my shift.

If you notice me changing my writing style, it is because I am sending in a proposal for GURPS Traveller: Imperial Navy. One of the things that has given me headaches in the past is my poor grammar and tendency to use a lot of contractions. Those are frowned upon.

I realized last night, given the usual writing schedule for a GT book, and the announced shooting schedule for Survivor, I may end up with the best excuse ever for a delay.. "Sorry, but I'm off stranded on a desert isle between late May and mid-August. The final draft will be delayed a bit."

A large number of farking weird dreams recently.

Tomorrow night, I have to work until midnite, which means getting home at Oh-dark Thirty. Tonight I'm staying up until 0100 or so. I really hope I do not get the closing shifts until Christmas.
