Mad dogs and Englishmen

Well, going for a walk at noon seemed like a good idea; until I walked out the door. It's 90 degrees already, and supposed to get hotter still. So I only made it down to about the Almaden Lake Park gate. Call it about a half-mile round trip.

1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?

Same one.

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?

I wouldn't want to. I have a perfectly functional name, with a lot of history to it.

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)

Boys in the Berry family are all have Douglas somewhere in their names. My middle name, Edward, comes from both my grandfathers.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?

"Timmy" Timothy, or Tim, are good names. Timmy just grates on me. For similar reasons, I hate being called Dougie.

He's been playing Metallica, hour after hour, for the last two weeks. I love Metallica, and I'm starting to get sick of it!
