The Friday Five

Found while tidying [livejournal.com profile] cerebrate's journal

1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most?

The dishes. Since we moved, and no longer have a dishwasher, having to do everything by hand is annoying. The fact that our water heater doesn't seem to believe in hit water doesn't help.

2. Are there any that you like or don't mind doing?

Several. Of the ones that others seem to hate, laundry is the biggie. What's so hard about getting the stuff together, hauling it to the machines, adding detergent, and then switching it over and then folding?

3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it's needed?

I should have a routine, but don't.

4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules?

If it's not in the ha,per, it doesn't get washed. I try to enforce this one, so I don't have to play hide and seek with Kiri's work shirts and the like.

5. What was the last thing you cleaned?

I did a massive cleaning of the bedroom.

Name, Rank, Serial Number and Date of Birth

Are things I don't have to answer here.

1. How did you first find my journal?
2. Why did you originally decide to friend me?
3. What's your favorite part of my journal?
4. What's your least favorite part of my journal?
5. Ask me a question. Be as random as you want.
6. Have you ever met me in person?

The Container Store

So, yesterday I had my second interview with The Container Store. From what I saw, it went very well. For the most part, it involved discussion of how I saw customer service, how I deal with customers in various situations, and some of my background. Interestingly, there were several things that you normally learn in an interview that weren't offered up until I asked about them. I got the feeling that this was deliberate, since the job emphasizes getting into the customer's head and doing more than just asking if they need help.

I'll know in two weeks. Great Ghu, I want this job!
