Some good news!

My unemployment claim has been approved. So I'm bringing a little money in while I keep looking for some work.

The Doctor is back!

There BBC has announced a new animated Dr, Who

This could be very good, or very bad, depending on how the animation is handled. I just ask one thing, Anthony Ainley has to come back to play the Master!

Gak. Has it really been 40 years!?.

And the good news continues!

I have an interview with the Winchester Mystery House tomorrow at 1500. While I am sort of hesitant at going back to a lob I held 13 years ago, it is a place to start over and earn some money while I keep looking for better work...

"Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Winchester Mystery House! The Winchester House is California historical landmark number 868. My name is Doug, and I'll be your guide through this beautiful but bizarre 160 room Victorian mansion.."

Yup. Still got it!

Way too cool.

Saw this thing on the news tonight.

There is a type of vision deterioration where vision begins fading in the center of the field, leaving peripheral vision but nothing else. A doctor had developed a camera that goes inside the affected eye and transmits the incoming image to unaffected portions of the retina. After a few weeks of work, the brain adjusts to the image and vision is almost totally restored.

Holy Humanity Cost, Batman! We're getting cyber eyes! They person who is doing the trial looks completely normal, unless you look closely at his left eye...
