One of my favorite 'early firearm moments' is still the firing squad from Richard Lester's '3 & 4 Musketeers' [they run together, but I believe it was in the 2nd film], when Chris Lee's character [Rochefort] is rescued. All the steps to load and fire are being done [I giggle] - plus the offer that Lee can just shut his eye - since they are having problems blindfolding a one-eyed gent.
