Typical.

So, it's about a month until my trip to New York. Out of curiosity, I checked my seat assignments. I like having the window seat so I can look at the world go by. Helps to pass the time.

I have the window seat going both ways, in row 24. On a 767-200, Row 24 is right over the wings. That means fresh batteries in the PDA and a good book. :)

Ah, well.. the point is getting to see [livejournal.com profile] fimbrethil. I just find it typically weird that I'm in the same row, on opposite sides of the plane, coming and going (seats A and J if you're interested.)

FYI, if you get to the airport early enough, and don't mind sitting near the back, they will often change your seat if you ask.

I've noticed this too. We often are in the same row, on different legs and coming and going of a trip.

I did try to get window seats as you requested. How was I supposed to know it was over the wing? Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem love, I just find it funny. Maybe I'm a lifter and don't even know it. ("I'll take obscure XXXenophile references for 500, Alex")

As [livejournal.com profile] firecat pointed out, if the flight is light, I can probably get another seat. I just like looking at things.

If you hadn't said it, I was going to.

And with the frequency of the occasions [livejournal.com profile] blackfyr and I have gotten window seats on the wing, we are sure we're lifters. It's happened that we've sat elsewhere, but not as often.

Took me a minute to remember that one, even with the cue, but I did. Heh.
