Game 5: Castoffs, Misfits, World Series Champions

San Francisco Giants: 3
Texas Rangers: 1

The Giants win the World Series in five games. The Giants' first Series win in 56 years and first ever as the San Francisco Giants.

The Torture is over. Next year is here. We are the freaking World Series Champions.

Oh, yeah. It feels just as good as I hoped it would.

Edgar Renteria is the Series MVP.

Congrats to the Texas Rangers on a great season.

I'm actually kinda glad you won our wager. I think you're a bigger Giants fan than I am a Rangers fan, so this upholds some sort of conservation of enjoyment.

On top of which, I like playing Santa.

That being said, I would have preferred a less ...uneven contest. Anyway, congratulations, and your stuff should show up at the address I was given sometime next week.
