Rough Neighborhood.

You know it's going to be an interesting game when the Mongolians are the ones building the Great Wall...

But a good game, winning with a Diplomatic Victory in 1905. 1718 is going to be the year schoolchildren in this universe dread, because in that year, The Holy Roman Empire completed both the Taj Mahal and Versailles. Also in 1718 the Mailinese Empire asked for our protection as vassals. Same year saw the conclusion of the 200 Years War against the devious Dutch end after the fall of Utrecht. The Netherlanders had to accept Holy Roman rule. The Persians were already our toadies after Darius came begging for my protection from those same Dutch.

Final score 15810, rated as "Augustus Caeser." My best game ever using the Next War Epic mod.

You do know that Civ V is coming out on Sept 21, right?

:-)

Oh, yeah. But I'm probably putting off getting it. I need to upgrade the video card in my computer first, and I really want to replace my camera (mine got lost at Baycon) with a better model. So I'll probably put Civ V on my Winter gift list.

Aww, I'm sorry you lost your camera. I finally got one last xmas. With some gift cards, the final price was less than $80, which I thought was a pretty good deal for a point and shoot digital. Hubby did some websurfing and realized the camera he wanted was $1200. Heh.

I've found some good ones with digital stabilization (which I need) for under $200. I love taking pictures, and want a decent camera to work with.

I love it. It's very easy to use.
