It's over.
Anaheim Angels: 4
San Francisco Giants: 1
Angels win the Series 4-3.
Livan Hernandez. After blowing Game 3, he comes back and gives up four runs in three innings in Game 7. Had we started Reuter, we might have won. After Hernandez was pulled, the Giants' pitching staff nailed the Angels down, but the damage was done.
Also we failed to take advantage of scoring opportunities. Too many times we'd get men into scoring position and strand them there.
Well, we lost the game. It was a good year that fell a little short. We have nothing to be ashamed of. But it still hurts.

<pounds forehead against wall>
Couldn't we have paired the starting pitching of Game
6 with the bullpen of Game 7?
I still can't shake the feeling that if "we" couldn't
pull it out yesterday, we didn't deserve it. :-C
<sigh>

P.S.: Hey. I've a canoe. I was trying to think of
whom to float in the Cove with, during some home game
next season, and I don't think there's a bigger
Giants fan in my circle of acquaintances.
Re: <pounds forehead against wall>
I'd love a chance to go spend a game in McCovy Cove.
