Montreal prep marches on!

Our passports arrived, and if I'm not stopped at customs and sent to Gitmo for the picture alone, I'll be shocked.

We've made our hotel reservations. We'll be in the Embassy Suites Montréal.

So what's the itinerary; how long are you going to be up here?

We arrive August 4th around noon, and will probably need a nap after nine+ hours on planes and in airports. We're hoping to meet up for dinner with folks that night, and understand that Old Montreal is very nice in the evenings.

Wednesday, August 5th is our day for a little tourism, again probably mostly in the Old Montreal area. We both love old churches and cemeteries, so hope to track down a few of those. As much as we can in one day, we want to see Montreal.

Thursday-Monday is the Worldcon. We're going to be pretty occupied with that, although expeditions with native guides are possible, and we hope to see some of Montreal's nightlife. The Hugo Awards are Sunday night, and I do not want to miss them.

We fly home Tuesday the 11th. Our flight leaves at around 1730, but I want to be at the airport early. No sure what we'll be doing (or able to do) that day.
