To the driver of the white Acura at Trade Zone and Montague today

I hope you're a heart surgeon. Really, I really, sincerely, hope you are a heart surgeon and were racing to perform life-saving surgery on little Timmy. Because nothing else excuses you blowing through the red light controlling the turn from Trade Zone onto Montague right in front of my 8.5 ton truck. As I told a manager later, it was both feet on the brake, both hands on the horn. I came within inches of slamming into your car. Hard that happened, I would have killed you. Seriously. You would have rolled several times. As it was, I had to fight to keep my 34' long truck from fishtailing into the other (law-abiding) cars and stop myself from flipping.

So I really hope you're a heart surgeon, because otherwise you deserve slow death.

What really made this sucky is I was loaded at the time. A watermelon box containing 4,714 3"x6"x1/4" metal plates slide forward and off its pallet, tearing the bottom of the box open in the process. Which meant that I and three other coworkers got to shovel nearly one ton of crap into a new box.

For the record, red means STOP!!!

Um, Doug, so that I may be picturing this right... "watermelon box" = cardboardish box with an open top, similar to what they keep watermelons in in the supermarket?

Exactly. Very useful for holding large quantities of small/moderate metal plates, since they aren't likely to bounce much when I hit a bump or pothole.

Unfortunately, I've found that having worked in the business, they're also prone to ripping at the most inopportune moments.
