Were you named after anyone?

"Douglas" is a traditional name in my family, all the males have it somewhere. "Edward" is after both my grandfathers.

When was the last time you cried?

After my meltdown at the dentist's a week or so ago. Stress, PTSD, and failure.

Do you like your handwriting?

I write in block capitals, and people still can't read it. Other than signing my name, I don't think I can do script anymore. Thank Ghu for keyboards!

What is your favorite lunch meat?

Deviled Ham. If we're talking deli stuff, roast beef and turkey.

Do you have kids?

One possible son, who is now in his early twenties. I've never met him.

If you were another person would you be friends with you?

What an odd question! Since this other person isn't defined, I can't answer if I would like the current me.

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Only when I'm within 100 meters of oxygen atoms.

Do you still have your tonsils?

Yes.

Would you bungee jump?

Nope. Got the thrill-seeking portion of my life over with years ago.

Cocoa Krispies

Do you untie your tennis shoes when you take them off?

Well, yes.

Do you think you are strong?

I think I'm in pretty good condition for a man of my age and health history. I easily lift boxes weighing up to 70lbs at work. I do need to start doing some walking/running, though.

What is your favorite ice cream?

Baskin-Robbins' Chocolate Fudge. Especially in a milkshake.

What is the first thing you notice about people?

Their stance. How they carry themselves, how they are moving. Legacy of military training.

Red.

What is the least favorite thing about yourself?

My health.

Garlic, a good wine's bouquet, the ocean.

Baseball, football (standard and arena), hockey.

Black, with some gray starting to show.

Brown or hazel, depending on the lighting and the angle.

Tried them once. Hated the things. I like glasses.

Hard call, but probably pizza. Anything spicy gets my attention.

Your favorite method of relaxation?

Anything that involves quiet solitude. Reading, surfing the net, watching videos. Time for me to settle my body and brain with some sort of chosen stimulation. Beer helps.
