Call me evil. Go ahead.

Looking at the poll results, it seems to me that a space-based take on One Piece might just fit the bill here...

SET FAIL FOR ONE PIECE

Was that intentional?

Fully and intentionally. It's a common pun on the Intertubes.

Ah. Got it.

Evil? No....

Evil is too easy.

More like "you really seem to believe this? My friend, you are clearly dipping too deep into the really, really cheap crack."

Now, a space-based take on "Pirates of the Caribbean" would make a whole lot more sense. Massive treasure hunt, being hunted by both sides, oh, can't forget the hats.

You have, however, forgotten the rum.

Where has all the rum gone? Why is all the rum gone?

Well, both are Macguffin hunts, either the treasure of the executed pirate lord or the multiple goals of PotC. I'm just thinking that matching Exploration, Intrigue, and Deep Mysteries just screams "Quest for the dread Macguffin."

The Indiana Jones are good examples. Object X, which is coveted by Groups A, B, and C, needs to be retrieved/thrown into a volcano/put in a petting zoo/whatever.
