A tradition endures!

43 years ago, [livejournal.com profile] isomeme took his first ride on the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad.

Yesterday, Emergency Reserve Niece Regan took her first ride on the best railroad in the world.

We've all ridden the BJWRR. When I was little, you got to sit in the engineer's cabin in Old Number 2 and blow the whistle and ring the bell on your birthday. But the best part is waving to everyone.

*squee* I love that place. Somewhere back in my journal (predictably tagged with "park" lol) are a ton of pics from when my sis and I took an adventure over there. My inner child is approximately 5 lol. I spent half the day making a total fool of myself on the swings, and climbing all over the airplane....:-D
