The SF Chronicle's Leah Garchick asked her readers what they've never done, and are proud of having avoided. Some of them are petty, some are weird, but all are interesting.

Here are a few of mine.

• I have never learned to tie a necktie

I've never lied about my age (even when I got a "fake" ID, I used my real age... I was feeling lazy about going to the DMV and wanted to go to an 18+ club).

I've never been arrested.

Do we have to take a shot for each thing that we have done? Isn’t that how the game is played?

I’ve never given up on my faith that everyone somewhere inside has some goodness to them.

Just with some people its not worth the effort to find it.
