Lately, I'm in a recycle phase on books (where I'm re-reading old favorites instead of reading new-to-me books), and right now I'm recycling Harry Turtledove's "War Between the Provinces" series - Sentry Peak is the current title, to be followed by Marching Through Peachtree and Advance and Retreat unless I get out of recycle phase before then.
(Usually, what gets me out of recycle phase is a new book coming out in a favorite series/universe - I get the new book, and while I'm at it, I browse the shelves (real or virtual) and see if there's anything else that's mildly interesting - it's easier to buy "less interesting" books when they're part of a purchase group that has at least one "must-have" in it. Current series on the must-have list are Turtledove: World War/Colonization and his universe that started with How Few Remain; Weber: Honor Harrington; Drake: Republic of Cinnabar Navy; and Moon: Vatta's War.)
