Well, I know what we're doing on our anniversary.

One thing. I've heard a lot of people complaining about the Black Widow having just a pistol. A lot of whinging that it isn't fair. Think of this way..

In that shot you have:

• The Mighty Thor, and actual God of Thunder, wielding a massive magical hammer.


• The Incredible Hulk, the living embodiment of rage and power. Quite possibly the strongest being on Earth.


• The Invincible Iron Man, Tony Stark in a flying weapons platform that can out-fly top fighters and take out armies.


• Captain America, the Super-Soldier, highly trained with inhuman strength and speed and an unbreakable shield.


• Hawkeye, a master archer with superhuman senses and reaction times.


• and the Black Widow. A Russian SHIELD agent with just a lot of training, a Glock 40, and the cast iron cojones to stand in that group as an equal.

I look at the end of that trailer and see her thinking "Alien army lead by an insane god heading for us? Better re-load now while I have the chance."

So looking forward to this movie. Although I'll admit that having a Captain America II to tell the story of Steve Rodgers adjusting to life in the 21st century and hinting that the Red Skull still lives would have been nice.

Also on my must-see list is the re-release of Titanic. Mock all you want, I love that movie.
