Heavy Metal Sunday is ready for some football!

Happy Superbowl Sunday! Since I'm a 49er Faithful, I am loathe to see the Cardinals win. So GO STEELERS!

To encourage them I've found this little nugget. Teihu is a fairly new and unsigned band out of the Steel City with an interesting sound. On their MySpace page, they describe it as:

Teihu's distinctive style combines many forms of metal with hints of traditional Hassidic music and concepts. Our unique sound, described by some as "Hassidic Master meets Satan", can be readily appreciated and thrashed to by most every Metal enthusiast. Teihu's lyrics are mainly inspired by the dark side of the esoteric Jewish teachings and traditions, including 17th-20th century Hassidic philosophy and Medieval Jewish Kabbalah. Our twisted interpretation of ancient mysticism can be enjoyed by any Heavy Metal aficionado, regardless of background.

Today, as the Superbowl looms large in our sights, we present Teihu performing Twisted" at a battle of the bands in Pittsburgh.

I do not believe

what I just saw.

Pittsburgh's James Harrison (ROLB) just intercepted a pass and took it 100 yards for a touchdown. Big guys don't do that!

Steelers 17
Cardinals 7, at the half.
