Let's see.. come back from recycling and shopping to find I can't park Darby because our neighbors have their usual mass of relatives and friends over for the weekend ritual of drinking and playing large mariachi music later.

We go to Costco where I realize that my cell phone is gone. The belt carrier had the strap in place, so I'm fairly certain it was stolen. Get home, get online to suspend my account. Hey! I'm offered a complimentary upgrade to a Slash. Great! Since this is obviously a signature required thing, I change the ship-to address to Kirsten's office. This causes a demand that I call their help line.

I loathe Virgin's phone tree. Eventually I reach a human, and learn that for credit card orders, the billing address and shipping address must match. This is insane. I regularly have stuff shipped to Kiri's office because we're not home during the day.

The service rep found a solution, and my phone will show up in a day or two. Then the computer's overheat alarm starts up.

I'm going to watch a movie now.
