OK, Sarah Palin is no longer funny.

Now that reporters are crawling all over Alaska, we're getting a new view of the woman who wants us to believe that she's a simple hockey mom and reformer.

So Sambo beat the bitch!

Spread this around. Gov. Palin is asking to be one step away from the Presidency, and we deserve to know the truth about her.

Everything you need to know about Sarah Palin.

63 pages.

You should read that, because the GOP doesn't want you to read it. In fact, they wish that people would stop asking questions about the Governor's background, policies, temperament, and abilities.
You should also read that because the McCain campaign is admitting they're hiding Governor Palin from the press because she might make a mistake.

Sorry, but this woman, who is my age, is asking people to put her one bad day from the highest office in America. I want to know everything about her. Joe Biden, too, but I can read his history.

This is just more of why many people call McCain "McSame." The same obsession with secrecy that we saw with Bush and Cheney.

The site that made me desire a desk job.

Did this one Thursday.

Drive faster, the cows look hungry.

My drop was right at that white storage container next to the big square building.

Now scroll back.

A little more. Farther, farther.

Yeah. Middle of nowhere, and about fifteen minutes of that drive all I saw was wind turbines and cows.

Luckily, I had called Kirsten to share the stop, and she gave me a better route than the one I had been planning. At least the material was something more than a box of bolts.

A non-shielded note to bring y'all up to date.

My boss, Tim, was fired last week. We don't know why, but it wasn't a huge shock. He had been expressing extreme dissatisfaction with the company for some time.

I have applied for the position of Dispatch Manager. I interview Monday. So far, most of the drivers have encouraged me in this, and are even starting to act like I have the job. Some of the warehouse guys are also being supportive.

The advantages are many. Higher pay, a more stable work day that would allow me to take classes at Mission College, less stress on my body, more of a career track than just a job, and it will look good on my resume.

The drawbacks? Having to deal with the crap that goes on in the warehouse, one hell of a lot of responsibility, and the loss of the freedom of being a driver.

I'll take the trade.
