A medical breakthrough!
For me anyway.
Yesterday, Kiri and I went to see my new doctor. Amusingly enough, he works right next door to the hospital where I was born! Full circle! Before we went out, we stopped at Healthy Choice for lunch, and I managed to eat an unhealthy meal. :)
Go to the doctor, we drove through my old neighborhood. That was weird. My old house is blue and white, and they changed my window! Heresy! Very strange seeing my childhood haunts as an adult.
Got to the doctor's office, and because of construction they had free valet parking. That was nice. Find the place and go up. I'm not going to go into details, but in short.
They are friendly as hell.
They listened to me.
Dr. Komshian suggested a physical before I could ask for one! The anti-Iaccarino!
So, I've got six refills on my Trileptal, and an August 1st appointment for a physical. I'll need to do labs a week before that.
I'm going to like this guy.
