Doug's sore throat - ask about franchise opportunities!

The ick that had been hanging out in my throat has decided that it's too big for a low rent district like my esophagus and has expanded to my sinuses and lungs.

I couldn't get to bed until 0400.. and was awake four hours later. Kiri made me tea (which I normally dislike, but she chose the most un-tealike tea she had) which has helped a great deal.

So, the plan for today is to sit on my couch with the penguin and watch football and baseball until I die from sports commentary.

My TV set is Haunted

Today is a big sports day. 49ers - Rams, Giants - Braves, Raiders - Bills, and A's - Twins.

Alas, my cable company seems to think that it is cool to have "ghost" images. Each image on the screen has a shadow-double just to the left. This runs from annoying to headache-inducing.

I mean I love my Giants; but I don't want to see 18 of them take the field!

Ha! We owned this game from start to finish. Our offense looked good, the defense was great and everything started clicking. We improve to 3-1, the Rams drop to 0-5 for the first time since 1963 while suffering their first 30-point loss since 1996. And it came at our hands.

Next up: At Seattle Seahawks.
